The video features Michael Madsen playing the father of the girl Justin Bieber is with and tells him he can’t see his daughter anymore. The video ends with Justin getting a few punches to the face for the girl he loves.

But Justin definitely had some inspiration for the short-film type of music video from the artist who mastered it. Justin said, “MJ told stories with his videos. I wanted to tell a story. Feel like a movie.”

This is another step up from his last video “Girlfriend” in which Justin wants to show the world he is more grown-up and wants to be taken seriously.

The video went viral shortly after it was released on Wednesday and is currently the most viewed video in the world.
